Work out what to charge for a sponsored post or UGC video. Start from your views and your CPM, then add usage rights, exclusivity and rush fees.
Pick the platform for this deliverable.
Use the average of your last 10 videos. The CPM is yours to choose; the starting number is only an example.
UGC videos aren't posted on your account, so views don't apply. Use your own flat fee.
Tick what the brand is asking for and set your own percentage.
Creator Money OS Lite is a free Notion template: a pipeline for every brand deal, invoices that flag themselves as overdue with the days late, and alerts 14 days before usage rights expire.
CPM means cost per mille, the price per 1,000 views. If your videos average 20,000 views and you charge a $25 CPM, your base rate is 20 × $25 = $500. You choose your own CPM based on your niche, engagement and past results.
Usage rights let a brand reuse your content, for example as a paid ad or on their own channels, for a set period. That gives the brand more value than a single post, so many creators add a percentage on top, often more for longer periods.
Exclusivity means you agree not to work with the brand's competitors for a period of time. It limits the other deals you can take, so creators usually charge more for it.
For UGC, views on your own account don't apply, so creators usually charge a flat fee per video and add usage rights on top when the brand runs the video as an ad.
There's no single right rate. This calculator turns your own numbers into a consistent quote so you're not guessing in the DMs. Raise your CPM or base fee as your views, engagement and results grow.
